Yoga

I started my yoga practice eight years ago.

As a former ballerina, I found yoga an easy transition for my body - at first. I quickly learned that practicing yoga was much more than fitting into shapes and exploring flexibility; there is a spiritual and mindful component at play which has taken me years to understand and even longer to develop within my own practice. I prefer vinyasa - which translates to “breath to movement” - because it forces my mind to be present with my body. Yoga centers me and provides an avenue to check in with myself - much like meditation. I experience what it feels like to be ME, with each breath in each shape, how does it feel to be Kate?
